2040 Lofts- The Company The 2040 W. Wisconsin Ave. Building was restored in 2006 as the 2040 Lofts, stylish living
designed for Milwaukee college students. The original building was constructed in 1957 as a medical office called the Bockl Building. The Scion Group LLC bought it in 2004 and sold it to Campus Advantage in 2010. Campus advantage is a real estate service that creates financially successful communities by
providing rewarding living, learning, and career experiences. The 2040 Lofts is a seven-story building with 132 apartments and 373 bedrooms.
2040 Lofts- The Service The 2040 Lofts are both comfortable and affordable while reflecting a sense of modernity
and luxury features, starting at $499 per month. The 2040 Lofts offers two-, three-, four- person units as well as one-bedroom units; students
can either select roommates or the 2040 Lofts can match students. Each 2040 Lofts apartment comes with furniture including a full-size bed in each bedroom,
desks, chairs, sofa, coffee table, wall-mounted 42” LCD television, barstools and a full kitchen.
The 2040 Lofts provide a free shuttle for residents at Marquette, MSOE and UWM. The 2040 Lofts provide a free 24-hour fitness center, laundry room, secure access attended
lobby and programmable electronic locks on each apartment’s front door, large common areas and private study rooms, professional on-site management, high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the entire building and on-site parking.
A large common area that features amphitheatre seating, love sacs, a fireplace, tables and chairs and private study rooms on each floor are accessible to all 2040 Lofts residents.
The amenities are paid monthly as a fixed rate ($165 to $175) and include heat, hot water (gas), electricity, central air, and water.
2040 Lofts- The People The 2040 Lofts is an Equal Opportunity housing provide—welcoming applications from
students and non-students. The Scion Group LLC in connection to the 2040 Lofts concentrate on urban, high-end
student housing. Two-thirds of the 2040 Lofts are college students from Marquette, MSOE, MATC, MIAD
and UWM One half of the student residents are Marquette students. The 2040 Lofts host numerous Resident Appreciation Days, including special benefits
during finals week. Sal’s Pizza and The Broken Yolk restaurants are conveniently located on the first level.
