Course DescriptionThis one day course focuses on advanced topics in “IBD-ology” from both a Cleveland Clinic and international perspective. Format includes case-based multidisciplinary extended discussions interspersed with didactics. Audience member participation in the discussions is highly encouraged. This event will be held the day prior to ASCRS 2019, and we anticipate a large, international turnout. We have organized a world-class expert faculty team and will review pitfalls and promising new treatments for the management of complex IBD patients. This course offers a chance to ask “everything you ever wanted to know about IBD, but didn’t know who to ask”.

Educational Objectives After completing this educational activity, the participant will be able to do the following:

• Describe the management of common and uncommon IBD presentations• Describe the indications and contraindications for managing different presentations of Crohn’s disease

and ulcerative colitis with medical and surgical therapies• Identify treatment options for patients with complicated IBD medical and surgical patients• Review and provide update on current aspects of Multidisciplinary team approach to IBD patient care
