Cleopatra is Famous Because…
• Cleopatra was the last queen and pharaoh of Egypt.
• Cleopatra was doing a man’s job in a time where women did not have those kind of rights.
• William Shakespeare wrote a play about her called Antony and Cleopatra.
• She was married to two of the most powerful men in Rome.
• She was the first and only Ptolemy to learn Egyptian.

Cleopatra’s Later Years…
• Cleopatra married her brother Ptolemy XIII, Julius Caesar and Mark Antony.
• She had four children one was with Julius Caesar the other three were with Mark Antony.
• She fought and lost lots of wars.
• Cleopatra went to Rome a lot of times.
• She died in 30 B.C. at age thirty-nine. No one knows how except that she must have taken some form of poison.

My Opinion on Cleopatra• She is a good example of
perseverance because she did not give up her plans with Julius Caesar after he died.
• She was intelligent because in a war she made a battle strategy of putting troops on water and land and it worked.
• She was bilingual because she understood Greek, Latin, Egyptian and other languages.
• Cleopatra was confident because she was fine talking to Rome’s most powerful men.
• Finally she was quick-thinking because of how fast she solved her problems.
