Glenlake is a low-maintenance choice for outdoor applications
All lateral tubing was bent to create a radius on the stair landing
Stainless steel tube infill creates a clean, linear design
Free-standing sections were placed in wall openings along walkways
Optional post-mounted handrails were utilized on the stair application
Breaks in infill tubing were accommodated by doubling all mounting hardware on posts
Project: Clemson University Bioscience
Location: Clemson, SC
Architect: Perkins + Will
GC: DPR Construction
Completion: December 2012
Scope: This project, with a six-month duration, called for more than 200
linear feet of our Glenlake stainless steel tube infill railing, as well as
350 feet of our Tivoli glass-supported railing. Grade 316 stainless
steel was utilized for all exterior locations, which hold up to
environmental exposure to heat, moisture, and airborne pollutants.
