messageKEY

We’re off to a great start in 2014! With one semester nearly over, our pupils have been doing well both academically as well as in co-curricular activities and competitions. Our focus has always been on building our children’s capabilities and capacities, and growing them to be the best they want to be. Our teachers have always been guiding our children in all aspects of school life and seeking to inculcate good values in them. Our many accolades are brought to you with pride in the next few pages of the Sparkle. Congratulations to all pupils and staff for a great job – Well done! I believe that much of our growth and success would not have been possible without YOU – PARENTS – in the picture. Clementi Primary School always seeks to work hand in hand with our parents and other stakeholders. In many ways, parents have been both our strength and inspiration. We are very heartened to receive compliments and praises from our parents. At the same time, we also take feedback from our parents seriously and seek continual improvement in our systems and processes. It is important for parents to converse with teachers regularly, other than the annual parent-teacher conference. In this way, greater collaboration can be fostered and together we can seek more ways of making school an exciting and enriching experience for all our children. My hope for 2014 is to see greater teacher–parent collaboration to enhance our student-centric, values–driven educational landscape in Clementi Primary School. Parents, I greatly appreciate your understanding and support for our school and programmes!

Best Wishes,Mrs Chandler Jay Siva
