Feed-in Tariffs France


France Solar PV Feed-in Tariffs

Given the bubble that has formed since November 2009 due to the anticipated publication ofthe new tariff, the government has decided that the new Feed-in Tariffwill apply to projects

for which the application for purchase of electricity dates from 1 November 2009, and for whichthere has not been a complete application for connection to the grid before 11 January 2010.

These new rates will remain unchanged until 2012.

Singapore Energy Efficiency Grants (1 of 2)


Singapore Grant for Energy EfficiencyTechnology

The Grant for Energy Efficient Technologies (GREET) is aimed at encouraging ownersand operators of industrial facilities to invest in energy efficient equipment or

technologies.

Funding of up to 50% of the qualifying costs, capped at $2 million per project. Onlyprojects with a payback* of more than 3 years and up to 7 years, would be considered forfunding.

Singapore Energy Efficient Grants (2 of 2)


Singapore Incentive for Energy EfficientEquipment and Technology

This tax incentive scheme is provided under the Income Tax Act. The objective of the schemeis to encourage companies to replace old, energy-consuming equipment with more

energy efficient ones and to invest in energy-saving equipment. Inefficient equipmentnot only incur high operating costs as they consume more energy but also have a negativeimpact on the environment as a result of higher emission of pollutants to the environment.

Wales Sustainable Farming Awards


Simple Solutions Farm Awards

Environment Agency Wales and Farming Connect, the Welsh Assembly Governmentssupport service for farmers, have joined forces to recognise and reward farmers who make

small scale changes to their farms to improve profits and benefit the local environment.

The winner will receive professional advice (to the value of 1,000) from a Farming Connectapproved consultant along with 1,250 from Environment Agency Wales to carry outfurther environmental improvements on the farm
