Cleanroom modular systemHermetel Oy

A cleanroom is a closed environment witha controlled level of airborne pollutants,temperature, humidity and pressure ac-cording to a set of ambient requirements.Hermetel Oy's cleanroom modular struc-ture system with its components has beendesigned for those requiring and usingcleanroom technology. The cleanroomsare manufactured to meet the standardsof high technology and hygiene. Theproducts are made industrially using spe-cial cleanroom materials which do notshed particles and which have surfacesthat can be cleaned easily.The chosen structures, materials andforms, together with the cleanroom airconditioning, create a seamless environ-ment that conforms to the required stan-dards. For a cleanroom to meet the de-mands set by the user, the incoming airmust be filtered to remove contaminantsand its particle concentration must belowered by using the air conditionerprefilters as well as the filters in the ceilingunit. Very demanding environments re-quire laminar flow complete with filters.

Together with the exhaust air, the devicesare set for the desired ambient pressure.In order to reach the required ambientpressure, the cleanroom structure and itsdoors and windows must be completelysealed. For this purpose, Hermetel Oy hasdeveloped a cleanroom modular systemoffering a full range of products to createthe required cleanroom.

STRUCTURE AND MATERIALS

The modules, doors, windows and othercomponents of Hermetel Oy's cleanroommodular system have been designed andmanufactured to be mutually compatiblethus allowing a very accurate creation ofthe desired layout. The modules are fittedwith a speedlock system.The doors, windows and components arefitted into the modules to create flush sur-faces and to avoid any extra panelling. Thiskeeps surfaces dust-free and makes themeasy to clean.

The system with its speedlocking ensureseasy layout modifications. It also enablespartial dismantling of the walls and re-mounting of removable walls. The mainsurface materials are epoxy or polyesterpowder coating and stainless steel plateswhich offer the highest standard of cleanli-ness and the best performance. Othermaterials are available.

WALL AND CEILING MODULES

– surface panels 0.5-0.7 mm thick hot-dipgalvanised steel plate, sandwich panelswith profiled edges

– surface panels are powder-coated tomatch the cleanroom colour. Standardcolours RAL 9002 and 9010, specialcolours on a case by case basis from theRAL colour chart.

– polyurethane foam sandwiched be-tween surface panels, 40 kg/m3

– tongue and groove joints, rounded cor-ners available for R 25 rooms

– polyurethane-based materials are usedin joints during installation, other seal-ants are available

DOORS

– manufactured in the same thickness (65mm) and with the same materials as thewall modules

– fitted with the frame, flush with the wallsurface

– frame 65 mm aluminium profile, with asealant groove

– stainless steel hinges– Abloy 4291 lock case and Presto button

on both sides as standard, other special-ity locks, lock cases and electric locks areavailable

– standard colours the same as in the mod-ules, other colours from the RAL colourchart

– all doors equipped with automaticallylowering gaskets or thresholds

– cleanroom sliding doors, roll-up doors,swing doors for interior walls and com-ponents also available

– doors can be fitted with a logistics-con-trolled Interlock system and/or other au-tomatics, if needed
