Some interesting facts regarding total quantities :

482,000 m3 of concrete – the equivalent of 200 Olympic sized swimming pools (50m x 25m) full of concrete.

124,000 Tonnes of steel – Equivalent to 17 Eiffel Towers

3 Million linear meters of pipe – put end to end would take you from Kuwait to Hungary.

11,500 KM of cable will be used - put end to end would take you from Kuwait to the Bahamas (or to Thailand and back!)
