This notice is to inform the public of the following information; Weeden Construction, LLC, lessee, and Dry Redwater Regional Water Authority, lessor, entered into a short-term lease agreement to divert and use water from Fort Peck Reservoir. The lessor’s appropriation right number is 40E 30064997. The purpose of water is for dust abatement during the reconditioning and gravel place-ment construction of Rock Creek Road North and Rock Creek Road South, located West of Highway 24. The starting date of water use will be May 18, 2015, and end on July 7, 2015. At the point of diversion, the flow rate will be 400 gpm and the approximate volume will be 4,200 gallons for each truckload of water. Weeden approximates 8 truckload(s) per day, which equates to 33,600 gallons per day and is less than the 60,000-gallon maximum stated in Montana Code Annotated 85-2-410 (2). There will be two different points of diver-sion, one for Rock Creek North and the other for Rock Creek South. Rock Creek North will have a pump located west of the boat ramp and Rock Creek South will have one set up to pull out of Rock Creek Bay.

SPECIAL EDUCATION RECORDS DESTRUCTION NOTICE

Glasgow School District #1A will soon destroy special education/speech-language records of former students who have been out of school for at least five (5) years.

Former students may contact Jane Kolstad at 228-2485 before August 27, 2015, if they wish to review the files or obtain copies of the information contained in them. The informa-tion to be destroyed shall not include data collected on a routine basis that is maintained on all school children (such as the student’s name, address, telephone number, grade level completed and year completed).

Parents of students still in school but not in special education for at least five (5) years may also request that their children’s records be destroyed. Parents of these students also have the right to inspect the special education records and obtain copies of the information contained in those records before they are destroyed.

Persons having questions about this process or those persons wishing to request that records be destroyed may contact Jane Kolstad at 228-2485 for assistance.
