Requirements for University• 2 Years of a World Language
– Must be the same world language both years– Spanish is offered at LHS– Want a different language? Maybe French, German,
American Sign Language, Russian, Japanese, Arabic?• Wait until 11th grade and take a different language at Everett
Community College through the Running Start program.
• Advanced Algebra/Trigonometry– You can take this after you complete Algebra & Geometry
• Third year of Science– You can take this in 11th or 12th grade– Chemistry, Physics, Advanced Biology (Forensics),

Q: When will I get my schedule of classes?
A: At Cougar Days in August.
Q: What if I don’t like my classes?
A: You can request schedule changes at Cougar Days and the first week of school.
Q: Can we wear hats and hoods?
A: Hats & hoods are allowed everywhere at school. However, in the classroom, the teacher decides.
Q: Can we have food & drinks in class? What about gum?
A: It is up to each teacher.
Q: Can I bring my backpack to class?
A: Yes.
Q: Do I have to share a locker?
A: Yes, 9th graders share a locker with one other person. Lockers are assigned at Cougar Days in August. You can pick your locker buddy.
