This Dork Diaries Academy Educational Guide is written to align with the Common Core State Standards (CoreStandards.org) and provide fun and educational projects built around exciting and meaningful stories from the Dork Diaries book series. Each project is designed so a student can work independently, with parents or other family members, or collaborate with peers, teachers and educators. By aligning our projects to the Common Core State Standards, students learn content while analyzing and organizing their thoughts and ideas. The learning challenges are designed to improve proficiency in Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening and Language and may serve as writing prompts.

By collaborating with a State certified teacher with a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction in Elementary Education, we’re happy to add a little dorkiness to students around the world while providing a free and fun educational guide that can be used at home or in school.
