FOR YOUR INFORMATION

How to Register

Easy online registration is available for all classes and camps at www.smgov.net/reserve. Priority

online registration for Santa Monica Residents runs October 11 (6 am) through October 17, 2017.

Non-resident registration opens October 18. To download a registration form, visit

www.smgov.net/classes. Registration forms are accepted via email, fax, mail, or drop off.

Refunds & Transfers

A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Refund/transfer requests must be

made in writing to the program supervisor in person or by fax, mail, or email. Class refunds and

transfers will be issued only if requested within one day after the first class meeting. Camp refunds

will only be issued with medical documentation or if requested within 5 calendar days prior to the

first meeting. Refunds will be prorated.

Cancellations

A full refund will be granted if we cancel the program. All dates, times, locations, and instructors are

subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to combine classes as needed or cancel

programs due to insufficient enrollment. Due to the organizational needs of group classes, we are

not able to offer makeups for days missed by the student.

Material Fees are payable to the instructor in cash on the first day of class. Material fees are not

discountable or refundable.

Funky Divas & Dudes Performance Art Rockstar Camp (4-10 yrs)

Instructor: Funky Divas & Dudes

Marine Park Auditorium

Catch onto the latest dance craze! Rock Out in this Performance Art Camp! Learn your own personalized

dance routines and dress-up in Popstar costumes to create Music Videos. Other rocking activities include Face

Painting, TV Commercials, Acting, Theme Day Dress Up, Funky Arts-n-Crafts, Dance Games, learn cool

dance choreography to songs from trendy musicals and all your favorite radio tunes! We will film a super

awesome music video on Rockstar Day that will be emailed to the parents at the conclusion of camp. Funky

Divas & Dudes instructors are a favorite with Nickelodeon, dancing at the Kids Choice Awards Welcome

Party 6 years in a row. If you want to "Rock Out" this is the camp for you! Please bring a snack, lunch,

Camp Express Winter Extravaganza (4-12 yrs)

A performing arts and creative fitness camp encouraging self-expression through visual art, dance, theatre and

music. Camp Express was developed to unleash the artistic potential of every camper. Energetic staff

members keep campers captivated with fun camp songs, games, and sports. Please bring a snack, lunch, and

Building a World Art Camp

Let’s create in three dimensions! Using wood, cardboard, wire, plastic and more, campers can create their own

structures, sculptures, buildings and imaginary worlds while they learn about space, form, materials, and how

LEGO Star Wars & Claymation Galaxy (7-14 yrs)

Star Wars Lego Animation and Claymation combined! Take your imagination to a galaxy far far away and

make a movie in this exciting Lego camp. We'll supply the Legos, you bring in your own Star Wars Lego mini

figurine to cast in your very own Star Wars themed movie! The ideas will be yours, the sets will be built by

you, and you will operate the iPods (Provided) to bring your masterpiece to the big screen. Whether it's a

re-creation of your favorite Star Wars movie or a unique adventure in another galaxy, this camp is the ultimate

chance to bring your Star Wars Lego masterpiece to life using the art of Stop-Motion-Animation! All projects

will be available to view and download online. Please bring a snack, lunch and water. $25 material fee.

Minecraft Mashup Combo (7-14 yrs)

Do you love Minecraft? In this camp, kids will design a Minecraft world using Legos and clay! First they will

create their own crazy Minecraft characters, or bring in your own Minecraft Lego mini figurines. Students will

build the character(s) with blocks of clay to give them the "Minecraft" look. Then details are applied until the

character is ready for the camera. Students will utilize provided iPods to create their own Minecraft movie and

become the voices for all the characters. Create monsters, creepers, Steve, or your own personal hero to tackle

the incredible environment that you create! All projects will be available to view and download online. Please

bring a snack, lunch and water. $25 material fee.

Tap into your imagination with tens of thousands of LEGO®! In this camp we will apply engineering, archi-

tecture, creativity and fun to create a magical Winter Wonderland! Build motorized contraptions like

snowmobiles, gondolas, or a hilltop village, slopes for LEGO® skiers and sledders. Please bring a snack,

Let your imagination take flight as we join Sir Isaac Newton and prepare for aerospace adventures with his

laws of motion. Design, build, and test fantastic flying creations including kites, planes, rockets, hovercrafts,

and more. Learn all about the Wright brothers and their numerous contributions to aviation. Discover the star

secrets of the universe with your own planisphere. Experiment with the laws of physics, gravity, and motion

during this amazing week of hands-on fun. Please bring a snack, lunch, and water. $30 material fee for

half-day camp & $40 material fee for full-day camp is due prior to camp via online payment. You will re-

Put on your engineer's hat to see how science is used to build skyscrapers, bridges, and tunnels. Use simple

machines to help lift weights and even launch marshmallows. Spend a day being a true Mad Scientist as you

learn about chemical reactions that you might encounter in your daily life. See how film captures light to store

images and how filmmakers make images move during "Shutterbugs" day. Walk on the wild side and explore

the nature of birds, beasts, and bugs! Please bring a snack, lunch, and water. $30 material fee for

half-day camp & $40 material fee for full-day camp is due prior to camp via online payment. You will re-

Play to Your Health Sports & Craft Camp (4-11 yrs)

Marine Park Auditorium / Clover Park Open Space

Play to Your Health is bringing the fun this spring in an action packed sports and craft camp! Every day,

campers will challenge their bodies with new sports, games and obstacle courses, as well as develop their

growing minds with educational arts and crafts projects. Campers of all skill levels will enjoy a

non-competitive, non-intimidating introduction to sports. Cooling down with arts and science ensures all

campers go home tired and inspired! Campers will meet in the grass area adjacent to the main parking lot near

the corner of 26th Street and Ocean Park Boulevard. Please wear comfortable clothes and sunscreen, and

bring a healthy lunch, snack, and water.

This soccer camp offers soccer games, skills demonstrations, and small-sided competition in a safe and

nurturing environment. Whether your child is a beginner or advanced player, they will enhance their playing

skills while getting a better understanding of the game participating in shooting, passing, and dribbling skills.

Camps are directed by LA GALAXY/Autobahn coach Raul Palomares. Please wear comfortable clothes and

Stars Premier Advanced clinics are a unique way for players to further develop their playing ability during

school breaks. Our elite coaching staff focus on delivering a high level of instruction in a fun, educational way.

The sessions are designed based upon an age specific curriculum to develop player’s skill (technique applied

during a game), game insight (tactical awareness), individual technique (ball mastery) and fitness (speed,
