Sponsored four (4) homebuyer education workshops between February 2009 and June 2010

110 individuals completed the homebuyer training Partners included:

Affordable Housing Enterprises First National Bank of Griffin United Bank Housing Authority of the City of Griffin Regions Bank Patricia Ogletree, Keller Williams

Increasing Homeownership

Closed on (4) Community HOME Investment Program (CHIP) assisted houses

Benefiting 13 low/moderate income persons

4 Potential new homebuyers to close within a month

CHIP Program extended for 12 additional months

Managed by Griffin Spalding Land Bank Authority Closed in 17 Single family Homes Rehabilitating homes for resale and lease

Community Tax Incentive Program Increase the millage rate on blighted properties Fund code enforcement activities with taxes
