What is the Housing Element?Required Element of the Arcadia General Plan
Assesses the City’s existing and future housing needs
Identifies existing and future housing growth needs for all economic segments of the community
Expresses goals, policies, programs, and quantified objectives to guide current future housing needs for all incomes in Arcadia
Requires review and certification by the State Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) for compliance with state laws
