ENTERING NEW SEGMENTS With its 2014 collection, Rock Machine is entering the largest cycling segment in Europe City & Trekking bikes – for the rst time. We used our knowledge from the development of our racing MTB and road bikes and extended it into the City & Trekking bikes segment. We tested them, rode them and enjoyed the riding a lot! We believe you will as well! Our City & Trekking collection offers bikes that are ready for various styles of use. We modified the geometry of all the models to their particular style of riding. We provided all our bikes with a sporty look and easy handling. We have also not forgotten about those who like to ride bikes in their free time. The geometry of the frames in the trekking category is adjusted to their particular use; sportive and long rides. Post amounts for water cages are fitted at the frames. Bikes in the City category will delight you with their natural and easy handling in combination with outstanding comfort. No matter where or how you plan to ride our City & Trekking bikes, there’s one thing that all of our models have in common: they feel light and are easy to ride! You will be amazed by the price/performance ratio! All Rock Machine City & Trekking bicycles are developed with the focus on high quality standards of development and production. Many procedures such as re-generation of the alloy frames after welding (T6-procedure) or phosphate application to frame parts and the front forks are executed according to the highest quality standards using exclusively environmentally friendly processes. CLASSIC 20 CITY SERIES
Our city segment includes four types of bike. Starting with the comfort oriented Classic 20. Its great comfort can immediately be felt in the rst few meters. Just shift the grip shift grip and choose one of the three gears available for easy pedaling. Riding the Classic 20 is smooth and easy. We nish painting of the frame with a powder coating in order to give it the best possible protection from the sun or possible damage. Trendy and elegant – this best describes the look of our Classic 30, designed for modern women who enjoy life in the city. Classic 30 is available in three shiny colors and will be offered with 3 or 7 speeds. With the Urban 30 you will have a great bicycle at an unbeatable price/performance ratio which combines great rigidity and amazing comfort. 7 speeds and three brakes, a coaster brake combined with two powerful V-brakes will provide your city tours with extra safety. We havent forgotten about those looking for a sportier feel of the bike, either. Our Urban 50 with front suspension is extremely comfortable. But you may lock the fork whenever you want to get your heart racing a bit more or have to climb a hill. You will sense their sportiness immediately after the rst push on the pedals. The basis of all three models in the trekking series is the light and durable frame made of 6061-T6 alloy. The proled tubes provide the frame with outstanding rigidity where needed and allow for material reduction where possible. The special prole of the top tube will give you condence on the move. Riding our trekking bikes you will certainly nd yourself smiling most of the time while looking at the road ahead! Trekking 30: fast, sporty and tough. 24 speeds will take you wherever you want. The performance is the same as the Trekking 30, but you will appreciate its greater comfort. The front suspension will make even bumpy roads feel smooth and shifting between the 27 speeds is super smooth. The Trekking 50, just like the Trekking 30, is tted with a low resistance quick release dynamo hub to provide light for your rides whenever you need it; for example in a tunnel. The Trekking 70 is a top model in the trekking series and is designed to do what you like doing – cycling. It is offered in three different frame versions.
ROCK MACHINE E-BIKES Rock Machine is developing its own electric bicycles which are equipped with the Powerflex system. Powerflex is a high quality electronic bike support system, proven by its many years on the market. Powerex impresses with its pleasant and natural cycling-like behaviour, reliability and driving performance. The goal of our designers was to create a system with a lean and clean design. All the cables are hidden inside the frame and components. In this way the cables are well protected and our bicycles have an organized and stylish look. The design is simply beautiful. Every single component mounted on our bikes has been selected with special care and attention. As an example we can name the tires, which have all been developed for electric bicycling. Another good example of our attention to detail is the rear light, which is nicely integrated into the battery. Small technical features like this merely prove how closely we at Rock Machine cooperate with our suppliers in order to deliver the best bicycles. 16 Simple is good Powerflex is a powerful and very stable 24volt system. The combination of high quality components and high-tech production brings disturbances to a minimum. The ergonomic display with bright screen will give users all the information they need. The buttons that control the ride and allow you to switch between different riding modes are positioned ergonomically close to the grips so that you can control the riding easily with your thumb. Powerflexs ergonomics is about the pure joy of cycling. different levels of tness in order to achieve the optimum average. The Speed mode gives the system extra power and brings the bicycle to its maximum speed of 25 km/h. This mode will be enjoyed a lot by commuters who dont want to get up a sweat, especially when hurrying to get in work on time. New double-display The double display (Powerflex super visual screen – SVR)) is an innovation for the 2014 collection. Its designed to provide the user with all the necessary information in one glance. The display is situated in the middle of the handlebars and has two bright screens. The control unit which contains switches to control the speed and riding modes is ergonomically positioned close to the grip. The double display is a totally new way of providing information about the details of the ride and the bike. Different batteries Consumers are able to choose the battery capacity which ts their preference, 11.25 Ah, 13.5 Ah and 17.4 Ah. The modern certified Lithium Ion cells are easy to use; you can charge them whenever and wherever you want; i.e. when you stop for a coffee at your favorite cafe Eco, Normal, Speed? You select! Three different modes will give the user the possibility to easily choose from eco, normal or speed. The name Eco mode speaks for itself; the system will use as little energy as possible and guarantees the maximum range for your rides. While switched to the Normal mode, the system automatically gives the rider average assistance. E-BIKES CITY A beautiful bicycle, the Urban E30, a bike that has everything the cyclist demands of a full urban electric bicycle. Its matt coated frame with the newly designed hydro-formed tubes gives you a bicycle which performs as strongly as it looks like. The Urban E30 is an ideal bike for commuting. Its straight front fork, strong carrier, durable roller brakes and double display interface bring you a new experience in cycling. The urban series contains two further models: the City E30 and City E50. Both are comfort oriented bikes. The geometry of the frame feels relaxed so that you can fully enjoy cycling. The 8 speeds will get you everywhere you want to go. For more comfort we advise you look at our City E50. It is a beautiful and at the same time durable bike. All the components have been carefully selected to deliver the joy of cycling for a long term. We say: Urban cycling at its best!
E-BIKES LEISURE Light bikes with a wide range of speeds for every terrain: the Rock Machine Sport E30 and Sport E50. The exclusive frames are developed to last a life time, being reinforced, durable and light. The sporty geometry makes riding feel easy and helps you to increase your cycling radius. The 24 speeds of the Sport E30 are ready for any challenge the terrain offers. The display and control buttons of the Powerflex system are right by your thumb so that you can increase your speed without taking your hand off the handlebar. Those looking for more luxury and high-end components are bound to choose the Sport E50. The 27-speed system offers enough capacity and will give you more freedom of choice when planning trips. The advanced front hydraulic suspension will smooth out even the biggest bumps. The adjustable stem allows the handlebar to be easily adjusted according to your personal liking, so that you can fully enjoy your rides. We have paid special attention to the welding of the connecting parts of the top tube, seat tube and down tube. Using highly advanced smooth welding technology, we achieved an amazingly compact look of the main frame triangle!
