The first time you need to install the Citrix program. Once the Citrix program is installed you can jump down to the section on logging into Citrix.

Go back to your web browser and click continue. If you do not see this screen, try reloading the page.

Log in with your Net ID and Notre Dame password

Changing Screen Size:

Choose your preferred screen size for the virtual machine and click save.

Click on Econ Desktop to launch the virtual machine

Choose open or yes to any permissions questions

You will see a desktop that looks like windows 7

The Stata icon is in the task bar.Click the start button to launch Word or other Office ProductsClick devices and printers to see the list of printers. These are the same printers installed on your personal laptop.

You can open files from your computer.Click on the folder in the lower left corner. Click computer. You will see the drives on your computer under the section labeled "Other." The C drive listed under other is your local Windows drive

The path to your local desktop is C Drive > Users > (your NetID) > DesktopThe path to your local Documents folder is C Drive > Users > (your NetID) > My Document

Please do not store files on the virtual machine.

MAC Installation:
