A Message from MaxMUDAHUIhelliphellip THE MATAHUI MUD RUNSuccess of any event can be measured in a variety of wayshelliptheamount of money raised the number of participants the weatherconditions level of support and involvement of volunteers thenumber of sponsors who offer assistance the effect of keymarketing strategieshelliphellipThe essence of the success the Mud Run and in this instancethe visit from the Tauranga Classic Motorcyclists stems from thepeople who were directly involved planning organisingimplementing and participating in the event So what I would liketo do on behalf of the school is reinforce the debt of thanks MattGriffiths who initiated and coordinated this project expressed inan email to those who helpedhelliphellipThanks so much for giving your time on Saturday to makethe first Matahui Mud Run a great success An event like thisis impossible to run without people like you and I am reallygrateful for your help It was really satisfying to see so many people having such agreat time and enjoying the spirit and hospitality of our MatahuiSchool community There was a real mix of current and formerstudents plus loads of new people experiencing our school for thefirst time and from the feedback we have been receiving their firstimpressions are very good Our sincerest thanks and appreciation to the following people forthe degree of positive support commitment in time energyenthusiasm and resources you provided in making this eventpossibleMatt Griffiths Anna Schroeder the Katikati Rural Fire BrigadeAngela Benstead Helga and Zac Campbell Jodie and DarrenBruning Jono and Kate Bruning Kirsty Tod Samantha OgdenFrank and Tracy Bourgeois Maniisha Wiessing LesleyChristiansen Rachel and Patrick Scott Danielle Ellis Jan andIan McCormick Alison and Heath Sumpton Ann Templeton andJohn Rayner Marie Webster Bev Gordon Sue FurnessChristine Paris Shirley Gao Todd Lynda and Jordi Uttinger
