The approach of the game is to recognise as many social figures as possible while creating a society.

Who identifies the most characters wins the game.

Either you draw your story.

„I am writing down the exact time, the exact stay and the exact measurments of your car standing in the non-parking zone in front of my house. Every day since you moved here.“

(Maybe this person is a square and had the task to be upset.)

Or you just tell your story.

Page 16: Citizen's game - playing society / The Game 'Encounter'

With telling your story you give first traces to your social figure‘s identity and the others can take notes who you might be.

For each story the player has told she/he gets quality points by the other players.

With a specific amount of points she/he can get the permission to guess who the other player‘s sozial figure might be.

By creating the landscape of the society and interacting with each other – the players learn to build models and identify models of societies and social figures.

The players experience to be a part of the society and to be designers of the society.

With encounter, they start to ‚count‘ as they leave traces in the society.

Page 19: Citizen's game - playing society / The Game 'Encounter'

Doing this means they perform their social figures properly.

With constructing a society that reflects the needs of the single players as well as of the community
