Citizen Self Service Citizen Self Service (CSS) provides web-based access to municipal services and information.

City of Mobile Self Service Navigate to the web address https://mobileselfservice.tylertech.com/Default.aspx Click on the Citizen Self Service link on the left.

Citizen Self Service Users CSS requires a login; the application will prompt you to enter your user name and password. If you are a current user and you forget your password, click Forgot Your Password to receive a password reminder by email. If you are a new user, you need to create a user name and password

Click Register.

New User: Link Accounts

Now, it’s time to link all your business accounts to your new User ID. Click link to account under Business License & Taxes Account

Enter New User ID,

Password, Password

Hint, Email Address and

Validation number

then click Save

Business License & Taxes Account Link Setup: Enter your information just as it is listed on your Business License then Click Submit

Your account is now linked to your self-service user id. If you need to link additional accounts, click link to account again and repeat the process.

Note: If Account information on record does not match information entered error occurs please review your Business License for the exact BUSINESS NAME and try again

Click Go to Module Homepage

Click select on the line across from Sales Tax to pay the City of Mobile

If you want to pay County Taxes through this website, just click select on the appropriate line across from County … Click select on the appropriate line to pay the needed tax period.

Example: Click middle select to pay Year: 2016 Month: 12 Status: unfiled

Please be sure to click select by the correct tax

Enter Gross Receipts and Gross Deductions as needed then click Continue

The Review Page should open after you click Continue

Review the information entered before clicking the FILE button and filing your taxes. If any problems found Click Revise this Filing to correct the information entered Note: You must check the acknowledgement box to successfully file your taxes

Click Add bill to Cart

If you have another form to file, Click Submit another renewal to start the filing process again. If you have, documents to include with your filing Click attach a document to your new filing

If you are ready to checkout, Click and following the prompts to pay

Click Continue

If you want to change the Payment Amount, do it now then click Continue. Enter payment information and click Pay Now

Click Log out

Check your email for receipt.

Click your user name in the upper-right corner of the page to Log out

Existing Users: User Name/Account Settings To access your Account Settings page, click your user name in the upper-right corner of any CSS page. Account Settings provides user account information, including password and email details. Account Settings also includes the Link to Account options for the various accounts that you can link to your personal Citizen Self Service user account.

The Home page of CSS provides a list of all of the modules available for processing, as well as personal account information and general Announcements that might be useful to you.
