Awareness raising and development education:
Basque education strategy for social transformation
(H) ABIAN 2030
- Launched between 2015 and 2016. A participatory process to define strategy in education
according to the Basque Strategy for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs),
- In conjunction with the provincial councils, municipalities and civil society, the Basque
Government / Basque Agency for Development Cooperation (AVCD), the Basque NGO
Coordination Platform and education agents,
- 3 steps: Diagnosis, Action Plan and Agreement, with 6 strategic commitments, monitoring,
actions and including the citizens.
1. Acompañar sujetos que buscan y construyen alternativas de ciudadanía global sostenible y equitativa.
2. Promover y potenciar la incorporación de enfoques político-pedagógicos de la EpTS como cuestión diferenciadora de otras propuestas educativas.
3. Potenciar y promover la incorporación del enfoque local-global.
4. Promover y potenciar el enfoque de derechos.
5. Promover la corresponsabilidad de todos los agentes, especialmente, de las instituciones públicas.
6. Tener como referencia el aprendizaje continuo.
