Avery Dennnison accredits Great Engineering’s BenchMARK and BenchMAX

“We have a Benchmax, and it is just a brilliant machine.  Thankyou.” Jeff Goodieson, Owner of Goodieson Brewery.“it is the most reliable little gem we own, and yesterday cruised through another 2,000 labels without skipping a beat.  There are many processes in our brewery when we wonder how long it will take or if things will work, but never do we have to worry about the labeller.”Mary Goodieson, Owner of Goodieson Brewery.

believe your Benchmark Labeler to be an excellent product so if we do upsize, we will certainly consider your BenchMax.” March 2011Paul Smith owner of OnThEdge Winery Purchased BenchMARK in 2002

“We have owned and used our BenchMark labeler since January of 1998.  At first, we laughed at the audacity of Peter O'Brien naming his company Great Engineering.  Now, we feel that it is truly an understatement!

This is perhaps my favourite piece of equipment in the entire winery.  I estimate that we've labeled over half a million bottles in the nine years we've had it, and it still performs like the day we got it.  I can't recommend it highly enough.  It's fast to set up and change over between rolls or labels or size/type of bottles. I cannot imagine that you would be disappointed -- or anything other than extremely pleased.  A good friend owns a small winery and he bought a BenchMark on our recommendation.  He feels as strongly [in a positive way] as I do about the quality, robustness, and sheer elegance of Great Engineering's products.

“After my father purchased our BenchMARK semi automatic labeller some two decades later I is still operating at Schmidts Strawberry Winery. To date the labeller has performed with minimal maintenance and to the constraints of the cost in the production of our wines. As Schmidts Strawberry Winery has grown so has the duty output required but the Benchmark semi automatic labeller continues to be a valued asset of our production facility.” 9 January 2013 M.Schmidt Purchase a BenchMARK in July 1992

Hi Peter: We are the proud owners of your label machine. I bought it back in 2000 (or some time around then). I love our machine and we have had zero problems. I have also turned so many people on to this machine. I should have been your sales rep! (ha ha). We can do a pallet/hour (56 cases 12 x 750). Keep up the good work! Hi Peter,

Just want to tell you again how much I love our BenchMAX - still going strong after 5 years, it's a legend of a machine!

The Benchmate is the best manual Labeler ever! We've been using ours for over a decade now. Which is what brought me to your site. The blue roller has a groove worn in it from labeling hundreds of thousands of standard 750ml wine bottles. Is that blue rubber roller a replaceable part? If so, how and/or where can I get one? Once I get one, can I install it myself?Reply = Absolutely. The machine is designed so that you can easily replace components. PatrickHidden Legend WineryMontana29 July 2014

Thanks for the offer. At this stage we also still love our machine. We have not had to use a great deal but when we do it works beautifully. We have only had to do a couple of things to it in the last 11 years or so. We also believe there is plenty of life left in it so at this stage I would decline the offer. If at any stage we believe we need another or we want to upgrade we will certainly be in touch. Thanks again and it was great to talk with you the other day. Wish Peter all the very best for me. Regards John KontrecSite ManagerTel.  03 5021 9314Mob.  0434 472 096Fax.  03 5021 64902 Wentworth RoadMerbein Vic 3505www.australianvintage.com.aujkontrec@australianvintage.com.au29 August 2014

Special Order one of machine 29/9/14We’ve received the BenchMATE and it’s working wonderfully for us. Once the guys get used to the new labelling routine it will work wonders for them. Thank you! Michael DimitrovskiManufacturing Engineer Web: www.ramset.com.au

20/10/2014 Hi Peter, I hope you’re well? I recently visited Europe and stopped in at Chivas and met with Campbell. He was very helpful and spent over an hour with his engineer demonstrating the BenchMax. They are very happy with the quality and reliability of the BenchMax and really ‘sold’ me. They are great product advocates for you!

After seeing it in action I’m excited about the potential it offers us as a company. My only concern is the distance between Aus and SA, with regards to servicing and parts. What sort of guarantees could you afford us in this regard? May I ask you to please forward me a formal quote for the Bench Max? Also, how do we go forward with regards ordering and import to SA? Kind regards,Gis  Gis CollardDirectorWine-of-the-Month Club
