I. About Cisdem Video Player

Cisdem Video Player is a convenient multi-functional media player for Mac OS X. It plays

just about any media file you can throw at it: FLV, MP4, AVI, MOV, DAT, MKV, MP3,

FLAC, M4V are all supported as well as many others formats and don't need extra codecs or

plugins. You will get a smooth HD video playback with no interruptions or slowdowns.

II. Application Operating

i. Importing Video Files Cisdem Video Player have high compatibility, it’s able to play almost all kinds of popular media files fluently without any stuck. Therefore, it is a practical alternate of default player in Mac. The easiest way of adding video files is drag-n-drop the file into the interface of Cisdem Video Player. If your media files are saved in a deeper folder, you can click the “File” tab on the menu bar, hit the “Open File” to select media file from folders. The shortcut “Command+O” is also available for opening files from folders.

ii. Player Control The interface of Cisdem Video Player is very simple, without complex operation, button and toolbar. When moving your mouse to the interface, the player control button will appear.

1. File Title:Displays the name and format of the current video file being played. 2. Volume Control: Moving the slider to control the sound of video file; Clicking the trumpbutton to turn off the sound, it’s very convenient and helpful to mute the noisy sound when you got a phone call. 3. Progress Bar: Moving the slider to any position control and adjust playback progress, don’t worry about spending too much time on the part you have watched or listened; The timer in the front of progress bar shows the time of playback progress; At the end of progress bar is timer which shows the time length of audio or video playing currently. 4. Step Backward: By clicking this button, you can control the playback progress backward; you can also tap the “←” to do the same operation. 5. Pause/Play: By clicking this button, you can control the current playing video file to stop or play; the shortcut key “Space” is also available to do this operation. 6. Step Forward: By clicking this button, you can control the playback progress forward; you can also tap the “→” to move the playback progress forward. 7. Subtitles: When you watching a foreign language movie, the subtitle is necessary. Just click the subtitle button it will provide two options: turn on or turn off the subtitle and choose the subtitle file from folders. 8. Soundtracks: You can select the soundtrack of the current playing video file via clicking audio button. By the way, on the menu bar of Video Player, the Audio tab also affords the option of selecting soundtracks. Apart from soundtracks option, the stereo option is also provided to you, mono, stereo, right channel and left channel.

9. Take Snapshot: By click screenshot button, the picture of current video scene will be captured. You can also take screenshot by “Playback-Take Screenshot” on the menu bar, the screenshot you taken has been saved on the system “Picture” folder. By clicking “Show screenshot in Finder” option on the Playback tab, you can easily find the screenshot. 10. Convert: Please see Chapter iii for further information. iii. Afterall thesettings, theappwillstartconvertingvideosandshowingtheprogress inreal time. When the conversion completed, just click “Open In Finder” to get theconvertedvideofiles.
