CIS COMMUNITY NEWS

A belated congratulations to Ms. Jessica and Federico who were married on Febru-ary 16th 2015, at a friend’s beautiful house near ceme-tery beach. Many family and friends were here to help them celebrate!

CIS wishes you both a lifetime of a happiness together!

[email protected]

Artists are constantly inquiring about all kinds of things. Why did an artist choose to make a piece? How did they create it? What materi-als are best for implementing an idea? How can I best express a concept visually? Student artists at CIS ask these kinds of questions to inform their own work. They investigate artists, techniques, materials, styles, concepts, etc. to develop their own ideas and bring them to reality. Throughout their creative pro-cess inquiry underlines all they do, as demon-strated in the work of IB Visual Arts students on display at Camana Bay tonight and tomor-row afternoon.

Please come celebrate the hard work of this year’s IB Art candi-dates at their exhibition tonight, Friday, March 13, 5:30-7:00pm. The show will also be open on Saturday, March 14,

12:00-3:00. All are welcome!
