Seating Arrangement30 out of 32 Bank PO Exams held in the last 5 years had 5 to 6 questions each based on SeatingArrangement. Therefore it is a MUST study topic and it is almost certain that, once you learn thetechnique of solving these questions you can be assured of 5 or 6 marks in any bank PO exam.In Seating Arrangement questions, we are generally asked to arrange a group of people according tothe given conditions. Given below is a model question, followed by its solutions in very simple meth-ods. This example will give you a very clear idea on how to solve Seating Arrangement questions.

Let us see how to solve the above question: It is difficult to solve the circular-arrangementwithout drawing a diagram.Therefore the first thing to do is draw a diagram (here, it is a circle)

STEP-3 Our next clue is that A is third to the left of C, who is not an immediate neighbour of F.

Since C is not an immediate neighbour ofF, C has to sit in one of these 3 seats

Since A is third to the left of C, this isthe only place for C
