What is a cinquain?• A cinquain is a five-line poem that

has special syllable counts.

• A cinquain poem has its own unique format.

What is the layout?Line 1: A one-word line, should be a noun.

This is your subject.Line 2: Two adjectives about the subject.Line 3: Three verbs that end in –ing that

are about the subject. Line 4: Four words about a feeling of the

subject.Line 5: One word synonym about subject.
