Altruistic attitude of the Memon’s trait gave birth to Philanthropy and paved way to our beautiful organization i.e. WORLD MEMON ORGANIZATION that was incorporated in the year 2014 and registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013, working with Charitable Objectives. It is a Non-Profit Organization with the ultimate Aim of uplifting the underprivileged Section of the Memon Community by providing Financial Aid for Education, Housing, Medical and other Social activities. The Organization is working with Selfless Dedication for the Welfare and Well-being of the Community. In addition, WMO, India is the Biggest Parental Organization representing the entire Memon Community from India to the International Community and having its Membership exposure across India.

Keeping & considering many activities in all fields especially in our Memon Community, WMO opts for all round development in spheres from Villages to Cities. The procurement of basic needs have become very tedious. Many families are dwelling in cramped houses with Joint Families as they cannot afford to pay exorbitant Rent, their Income is very low and it becomes very difficult for their survival. The conceptualized approach of WMO India Chapter is to help them in all ways to fulfill this indispensable need with safe and viable environment by providing Roof over their heads.

‘You’ & ‘Me’ becomes “We” and thus a formation of Organization is possible to uphold each other and spreading a sense of brotherhood in the Community at large.

The unique and selfless trait of helping

fellow human beings purifies our heart

and provides us with the motivation to

undertake social and charitable activities

which aim to benefit all sections of the

society. It also help us in being united with

the SOLE OBJECTIVE of helping and

reaching out to one and all.

· Education - The prime focus will be to

provide as much assistance, in the field of

education, to the deserving and the

needy students in every possible manner

so that they become industry ready with

the requisite skill sets.

This noble principle of SERVING

MANKIND has guided us to form the

WORLD MEMON ORGANIZATION with

certain basic thoughts based on the

Islamic Principles. It is for this very reason

that we have identified the following

domains to focus on in the times to come:

· Health Care and Medicine: Our mission

here is to render the best of medical

facilities to the deserving and needy

sections at an affordable cost .The aim

going forward is to create modern

medical centers with full fledged

facilities so as to benefit all sections of the

society.

· Shelter is the most important requisite

for any human being. WMO has taken

upon the huge task of contributing to

the deserving and needy families to

find an affordable shelter. The aim of

WMO is to partner with like minded

people in order to develop mass

housing projects and work out

affordable and economical homes to

the people in need of the same.

WMO has a well developed Ladies

Wing which focuses on issues like

distribution of food, clothing and other

essential requirements to the

deserving. This also gives us a platform

to exercise Women empowerment.

The ladies wing will also run training

sessions for the women and expose

them to hands on trainings to acquire

the required skill sets so that they

become financial independent. This

helps the women to work from the

comforts of their homes.

· Special Children: WMO will work

extensively in the days to come for the

betterment of the gifted children. The

aim is to develop good infrastructure

for their complete all round- mental

and physical development.

Unite, Uphold, Uplift – are the dynamic

'WORDS' which are driving WMO and

we believe in putting these words into

'ACTION' to benefit one and all.

WMO has also developed a YOUTH

WING which caters to empowering the

young minds and mould them to be the

future leaders of the community. One

of the aims of this wing will be to

motivate them to take part in social

and charitable activities for the benefit

of the society.

For the efficient operation of any

Organization, a rigorous Planning and

it's effective Management are the key

which lead the community towards

Development. Our nature of work is

re s u l t o r i e n te d , s p e e d y a n d

transparent.

As we believe, we have to work for the

benevolence, betterment and well-

being of the Community to please the

Exalted, Omnipotent, Omniscient,

Almighty ALLAH only.

At the very onset, I thank ALMIGHTY ALLAH for bestowing all his blessings which resulted in the various activities , events and programs with a sole motive to SERVE MANKIND.

The last financial year, under the visionary and action oriented, dynamic leadership of the President of World Memon Organization – Mr. Ehsan Haji Amin Gadawala, saw many milestones being achieved. A few notable of them being the commencement of the Palghar Hospital Project, completion of mass housing complexes in Gadhada, Savarkundla, Akola and Malegaon.

The unprecedented success of the same has further motivated us and the team of WMO to put in more efforts, identify more and more areas with the objective of helping mankind and the community .

Women empowerment is the need of the society and the world at large. Keeping in mind the fast day to day changing environment in our lives. the women of today play an important role. Women empowerment is enabling them to be educated and financially self dependent .

The Youth is the life line of any community, any Nation and they are the pillars on which any community plans and grows from strength to strength.

• Medical facilities.

The team is reaching out to people so that the deserving and the needy get benefited.

The formation of the youth wing is based on the vision of creating future caretakers of the community, and organization .

The youth wing is focusing on getting the youth together from different domains and expertise of the community on one common platform so that the community reaps the benefits of the same. One such initiative taken by the youth wing is MEMON PARLIAMENT. This event will bring youth from different regions of India on a single platform sharing their thought's on various topics concerning the development of the Memon Community and ideas to implement the same. This unique initiative will go a long way in developing the leaders of tomorrow.

Palghar Hospital a 135 bed multi-specialty hospital is being built at Village Shirgoan District Palghar, a village approx. 100 kms from Mumbai towards Gujarat. The noteworthy 25 CRORES project with collaboration between WMO INDIA CHAPTER and Palghar Memon Welfare Trust. Currently working on Phase I fully equipped 55 Beds Hospital at the cost of 10 CRORES with having aim to start the Hospital by the end of December 2019. On 29th August, 19 World Memon Organization- India Chapter organized Medical Camp in association with Lions Club of Palghar and Proposed Memon Hospital, total count of Patients were 197 and all patients were provided free medicines. The Patients were diagnosed Eye check of 33 patients out of that 12 patients were detected with Cataract, Surgery & Physician consultant of 9 Patients, BP Sugar Test of 103 patients out of that 33 patients were detected with high risk of paralysis,4 Patients were sent for angiography Surgery and 2 Patients were detected with mouth Cancer.

This monsoon Gujarat suffered huge loss due to flooding. WMO India- Youth Wing Navsari actively volunteered and helped the needy with ration and other household necessaties distribution on 19th August, 2019. On 03/08/2019, World Memon Organization- India Chapter Ladies Wing & Youth Wing, carried out the Distribution of Umbrel las and Tarpaulins for poor families of FLOOD AFFECTED AREAS who all came from Vasai, Naigoan, Nalasopara, Malvani and Virar and also distributed 287 Raincoats to school children's who came from 16 different schools of Malad, Goregaon, Kandivli and Jogeshwari.

Baroda faced a very sever crisis of drinking water while the city was drowning in water during the recent floods in Gujarat. Under the leadership of WMO City Chairman Mr. Firoz Memon, WMO India- Youth Wing Baroda identified the crisis and swiftly arranged for clean drinking water on 4th August, 2019. Water supplied was a much needed support during the times of immense shortage of life’s basic necessity.

On 27th July, 2019 World Memon Organization- India Chapter, organized Medical Camp at Palghar in association with Lions Club of Palghar and Proposed Memon Hospital where 123 patients registered themselves, Free Medicines was provided to all the patients at the camp. The patients were diagnosed with Cataract 2 Patients, Surgery & physician consultant 3 Patients, RB Sugar Test 16 Patients and Angiography 2 Patients.

On 02/08/2019, World Memon Organization- India Chapter donated 2 Dalysis machines to Kosmopolitan Charitable Dialysis & Day Care Centre, They are running 11 Bedded Dalysis Centre and serving 33 patients/day for free under MJPAY Health Scheme, Nearly 800 Patients per Month are getting Benefits, due to sudden break down of 3 Dalysis Machines they were unable to serve some patients which was affecting patients health by seeing these scenario WMO India decided to donated 2 Dalysis Machine to Kosmopolitan Charitable Dialysis & Day Care Centre with immediate effect.

On 13th July 2019, WORLD MEMON ORGANIZATION, India Chapter organized Job Fair At Pune in association with Association of Muslim P ro f e s s i o n a l s ( A M P ) a n d i n coordination with Pune Halai Memon Jamat (PHMJ at Badminton Court, Azam Campus Pune, where more than 55 Corporates from across various industries had participated, a massive turnout of 1575 candidates. At the end of the day around 265 candidates were given on-the-spot offers by the recruiters while 740 were shortlisted for the next round of interviews who attended the Job Fair Inauguration of the Mega Job Fair took place at the hands of Mr. Sameer Shaikh, Assistant Commissioner of Police–Crime (Pune). Where about 88 girls and 72 boys, total of 160 candidates came together with their parents. A total of 540 people were under the same roof for the get together for match making of profiles and finding their most suitable life partner. On 6th July 2019, World Memon Organization, India Chapter, Youth Wing in association with Umeed Foundation (Mrs. Salma Memon) along with Deputy Chairperson of Ladies Wing Mrs. Raziya Bai Chasmawala and L i fe Member Naseema Sur ty distributed 238 school kits for children coming from 16 different schools of Malad, Goregaon, Kandivli and Jogeshwari.

The kits included School bags, Books, Pencil Box, Erasers and Geometry Box Water Bottles and Tiffin box. In its endeavor to take steps in reaching out to the needy children in the field of education in WMO YOUTH Wing in association with Umeed Foundation (Mrs. Salma Memon) Organized and The event was a well-attended by people from all walks of life and the 238 guardians of the children attended the program.

WMO COMPLEX AT SAVARKUNDLA

Moving ahead with WMO’s legacy project of providing shelter to the needy. WMO India identified needy families residing on rent for prolonged time and in difficult condition at Savarkundla. The team shortlisted a premises where the needy families could be relocated and spend their lives in peace. Alongwith 15 homes, 18 shops were also provided to the needy to establish a secure source of income.

On 30th June 2019, Gadhada Memon Jamat, Organized Stone Laying Ceremony of WMO Aashiyana, by the hands of Peer -E- Tareekat Sayyed Al'Haaj Dada Bapu Qadri, Savarkundla, these Project includes 60 flats, each flats is 1BHK, previously these projects was having 45 flats which were in very bad condition and which built in 1990's and this project was proposed by Mr. Irfan Khimani, Patron/City Chairman Gadhada. With immediate effect WMO India took decision to reconstruct this Project as it was benefitting 15 more beneficiaries. And Peer-E- Tareekat Sayyed Al'Haaj Dada Bapu Qadri, Savarkundla, and proposed WMO to build school at Gadhada and he also announced to contribute in this project and Mr. Irfan Khimani, Patron/City Chairman Gadhada announced to provide land for free to construct and WMO Team offered support to build school at Gadhada.

FLOOD RELIEF

Nature's tyrannical temperature with heavy rainfall affected 12 Districts and bought devastating catastrophe in the Indian State of Kerala. During this miserable plight WMO, India actively supported victims and donated 43 Lakhs for Relief Works.

On 19th July 2018. World Memon Organization, India Chapter Ladies Wing, had received application for Bore well At 407, Nayi Zindagi, Vijay Nagar at Sholapur (Maharashtra). This project helped to solve the problem of water scarcity.

Youth Wing India on 08/09/2018 in Mumbai , The Tournament had witnessed a record turn out with 12 teams participating for the coveted Trophy.

MEMON FOOTBALL PREMIER LEAGUE- SEASON I (2018)

We're grateful to Adv. Huriya for her generosity and time. As they say, a strong woman stands up for herself, an even stronger woman stands up for others.

In order to create awareness amongst all Sunni/Shia Muslims regarding applicability of Shariat Laws/Muslim Personal Laws in India in matters relating to testamentary and intestate s u c c e s s i o n , m a r r i a g e /n i k a h , dissolution of marriage including types of talaq, khula, mubarat, talaq-e t a f w e e z e t c . m a i n t e n a n c e , guardianship and adoption, estate and succession planning, gifts/hiba, will/wasiyat, trust/waqf, business contracts, shariah investments etc advocate Huriya Patel will be providing FREE legal advice and counselling to underprivileged women on a bi monthly basis.

In this seminar she talked about how as parents we should focus more on our daughter's education as opposed to her marriage. How we shouldn't spend frivolously on big weddings, instead we should use that sum to secure our daughter's futures. We must educate ourselves and our daughters on their legal rights in case of a divorce, domestic abuse, death etc which we hope never to have to encounter but Allah forbid if circumstances arise they must be able to endure with strength and in full knowledge of their rights.

SEMINAR "LEGAL EAGLE" OFFICEPREMISES

On the 18th of July 2018, a large gathering of women, assembled at our centre in South Mumbai to receive legal counselling from our learned sister and eminent lawyer - Advocate Huriya Patel.

What do we truly mean when we say we work for women empowerment? A big part of it is spreading awareness of women's rights in our community which is an extremely pertinent topic. We invited Advocate Huriya Patel, who b e l i e v e s t h a t e d u c a t i n g underprivileged women on their basic rights is the need of the hour. In these uncertain times, information is the most powerful commodity we can give to them.

MEMON DAY CELEBRATION.

On 11/04/2018 WMO (NIC) Celebrated Memon Day with Children's of Ummeed Foundation, Mumbra by distributing 11 Calipers Shoes, 3 CP Chairs, 3 Wheel Chairs & 3 Walkers. This noble cause brought a smile on the faces of needy and under privileged physically challenged children's and also Veraval Celebrated Memon Day by distributing 10 Sewing Machine, organized medical camp, distributed ration kits to widow, note books at schools, fruits at hospital, and provided lunch to students studying at madrasa and also in Goa Celebrated Memon Day by organizing Eye checkup, more than 200 patients gathered 100+ Glasses were provided for free to needy and underprivileged people and students of Madrasa, Eye Camp on Memon Day at Vasai by Mrs. Raziya Ashraf Chasmawala & Team.

The construction of the second legacy and housing project consisting of 18 homes was initiated in Malegaon by Mr. Majid Ranani & WMO India on the 15th of January 2018. An audit involves performing procedure to obtain audit evidence about the amounts and disclosures in the financial statements. The procedure selected depend on the auditors judgment, including the assessment if the risk of material misstatement of these financial statements, whether due to fraud or error. In making those risk assessment, the auditor consider internal financial control relevant to the company's preparation of the financial statements that give true and fair includes evaluating the appropriateness of accounting policies used and the reasonableness of the accounting estimates made by the Company's Director, as well as evaluating the overall presentation of the financial statements.

We have audited the attached balance sheet of WORLD MEMON ORGANIZATION as at 31st March, 2019 and Income and Expenditure Account of the organization for the year ended 31.03.2019 annexed thereto. These financial statements are the responsibility of the Company's management. Our responsibility is to express an opinion on these financial statements based on our audit report.

AUDITORS RESPONSBILITY Our responsibility is to express an opinion on these financial statements based on our audit. We have taken into account the provision of the Act, the Accounting and auditing standards and matter which are required to be included in the audit report under the provision of the Act and the Rules made there under we conducted our audit in accordance with the Standard on Auditing specified under section 143(10) of the Act. Those Standards require that we comply with ethical requirements and plan and perform the audit to obtain reasonable assurance about whether the financial statements are free from material misstatements.

1. In our opinion the Balance sheet and the Income & Expenditure Account for the year ended 31.03.2019, dealt with by this report comply with the accounting standards referred to in Section 2 of clause ( 2 ) companies Act,2013.

b. WMO has granted Micro finance loan to trust. The loan granted is interest free, hence question of clause being prejudicial does not arise.

d. In our opinion and according to the information and explanation given to us, there are no transactions involving purchase, sale or rendering of services made in pursuance of contracts or arrangements entered in the register maintained under Section 189 of the Companies Act, 2013.

f. Provident Fund is not applicable. g. According to information and explanations given to us, no disputed amounts payable in respect of Income Tax, Sales Tax and customs duty were outstanding as on 31st March, 2018 for a period of more than six months from the date they became payable WMO.

j. In our opinion and according to the information and explanation given to us, there is Sundry Creditors Balance more than 6 months from the date they became payable WMO.
