Churriana de la Vega, April 27th, 2020 Dear families, I hope that you are holding up well I imagine that all the families are excited for the children to be able to go outside a short time each day. It will very beneficial for them and they can breathe and run a little in the streets. In terms of school, for the weeks of the 27 th of April to 8 th of May the schoolwork proposal will be to view the following video in which we will continue reviewing the colors in English with a trendy song about the rainbow. It is a pop song in which the children can listen to colloquial and very fast English. I know that It’s difficult for them, but extremely catchy and fun. I think it is the moment our children to open their minds and ears to a new way of listening and speaking in English, specifically to a current song. You know that the children are growing and they will be in the first grade of elementary school soon. So, we are going to help them to take this important step. So, for these weeks let´s do these activities: - Listen to my version of Colors by Stella Jane. - Have fun, enjoy, dance, and “rap” to the song. - Remember: enjoy, enjoy and enjoy listening to a new style of music. - Review colors in English and how to write them. - Look for some objects that are the colors of the rainbow. Then put them on a sheet and write down their names in capital letters. Take a photo of their work. Look at my work!

Dear families,
I hope that you are holding up well I imagine that all the
families are excited for the children to be able to go outside a

Queridas familias,
Espero que sigáis bien. Imagino que todas las familias
estarán muy contentas de que los niños y niñas puedan salir un
rato cada día. Estoy segura que el hecho de salir, respirar y
correr un poco, les beneficiará enormente.
En cuanto a la propuesta de trabajo para las dos próximas
semanas será trabajar con un video en el que utilizo una
canción pop de moda; con la que los niños y niñas repasaran
los colores del arcoíris. Sé que es una canción muy difícil la
verdad, pero muy pegadiza y divertida, en la que escucharán
un inglés coloquial y rápido. Pienso que es el momento de que
nuestros niños/as abran su mente y oídos a otras formas de
escuchar y hablar en inglés, concretamente usando esta
canción actual. Sabemos que están creciendo y pronto estarán
en primero de Primaria. Así que vamos a ayudarles y animarles
sin ningún miedo, a divertirse y darles un paso adelante. Lo
importante no es aprenderse nada sino disfrutar de ella y con
ella, escuchando unos nuevos ritmos en inglés.
Por lo tanto, para las dos próximas semanas las actividades
serán las siguientes:
- Escuchar la versión que les he preparado de la canción
“Colors” de Stella Jane.
- Divertirse, disfrutar, bailar y “rapear” una canción.
- Recordar: disfrutar, disfrutar y disfrutar escuchando
música, en concreto un nuevo estilo musical para ellos/as.

- Repasar los colores en inglés, su grafía en mayúscula.
- Buscar objetos de diferentes colores. Ponerlos encima de
unos folios o cartulinas y escribir el nombre de su color
en inglés y en mayúscula.
- Éste es un ejemplo: Mirad mi trabajo!
Para estas dos semanas no será necesario que me enviéis
un video, solo una foto con sus trabajos.

Objectivos:
- Repasar los colores en inglés.
- Divertirse cantando canciones de pop en inglés.
- Familiarizarse con la grafías en mayúscula de los colores
en inglés.
- Mejorar el inglés tanto de forma oral como hablada.
- Acercarse a nuevos estilos musicales en inglés.
