Please continue to pray for Judy Miller as sherecovers from her open-heart surgery. The doctorsare pleased with her progress, but she has a longway to go before being pain free - let alone clearedto run a marathon!
Please pray that the church Kindy will be complete
in every way by December 4th.
Please pray that the Lord would raise up peoplefrom WHAC to bless, and welcome, and reach outto the families who will be involved with the churchKindy.
Please pray for John and Nicolette, in addition toall of the Nanjans, as they welcome their new babyinto their home and their hearts.
Please continue to pray for the McGowans. Maythe Lord keep His hand upon David especially ashe struggles with his many challenges.
Pray for members of Song Shan Church in Taipeiand a short-term team that will partner in co-ordinating Yunlin County Christmas outreaches

Do you glow in the dark?
If so, then the WHAC beach day is for you! This afternoon from2:30, our church family will be meeting near the playground atBrowns Bay beach for an afternoon of... well... whatever wewant, and all are encouraged to attend! Bring a blanket, a cricketset, sand toys, sunnies and sun block so that you don't go fromglowing white to glowing red throughout the afternoon. It will be
loads of fun if you come along, so please do. Rain date:November 25th.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Some people wonder if it's okay to start playing Christmas musicin November... others (ahem) have been playing it since July, and why not? Because Christmas is awesome! And to celebratethis wonderful season, WHAC is once again going to be hostinga Community Christmas Celebration on Saturday, December15th! Our Children's Entertainer has been booked, a planningteam has been formed (new people are welcome!), and all youneed to do is watch this space for details!.
A Financial update
Thanks to your faithfulness in giving, the first term of ourfinancial year saw reach 93% of our targeted giving number.Praise the Lord and good for you! At WHAC, we give as anexpression of worship and love to the Lord, and I truly hope andtrust that the Lord was honoured among us this past quarter.Unfortunately, these first months are always expensive for us,and, as a result, we are currently in a $1,082 deficit position.
A place for everything...
... and everything in it's place. As the renovation of our facilitywinds up, we will be having a three evening work bee(December 2nd-4th) to re-stock the kitchen with our plates andbowls, etc... in addition to putting the collected bits and piecesthat have found a home in our sanctuary back where theybelong in our storage areas. Art will have to be re-hung, chairswill have to be re-placed, and we'll need to bid a sad farewell tothe big blue oil drum as it returns to the deep recesses of ourbuilding. Many hands make light work, as they say, andeverybody's help will be appreciated. Feel free to sign up at theback table this morning.
Are you handy with a hammer?
To make the best use of our storage space, we will beconstructing some new shelves. If you would like tohelp, please see Pastor Matt today.
A new addition to the family!
On Thursday morning, just after 10:00, John and
Nicolette welcomed their healthy baby girl into theworld following a successful delivery. Mum and buband family are all doing well, and will certainlyappreciate your prayers in these early days.
He gives strength to the weary and increases thepower of the weak. Even youths grow tired and
weary, and young men stumble and fall; but thosewho hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will runand not grow weary, they will walk and not be
faint.Isaiah 40:29-31
And let the peace that comes from Christ rule inyour hearts. For as members of one body you
are called to live in peace. And always bethankful.
