Payment in Lieu of Taxes (PILOT)

The City of Lewisburg and the Lewisburg Industrial Development Board offers a PILOT

(Payment in Lieu of Taxes) program for both City and County Real and Personal Property

Taxes. The chart below is a general guide on the amount of property tax abatements a

qualified project can expect to receive. All PILOT offers are subject to negotiation and

approval by the IDB and Lewisburg Council. Based on additional factors such as wage
