Settings

Time:The story starts in the stone age during winter; the weather is very, very cold.

Place:Torak, the hero, lives in a large valley whose borders are the sea on one side, mountain with forest, villages on the other side. Many people live in this valley, they are organised in clans (for example: wolf clan, eagle clan )

Characters

Torak: A 12 years old young hunter. He is a member of the wolf clan but his father decided to abandon them to take refuge in the forest for mysterious reasons.

Wolfy: He is a baby wolf, his family died in a flood, he was adopted by Torak and he follows every Torak's adventure.

Renn: She is a member of the eagle clan, they captured Torak because he hunts in their territory she helps him to escape.

The plot

Torak is a young hunter. One day, he was attacked by an enormous bear, the bear kills his father, then he adopts a baby wolf. He was captured by the eagle clan. He learns that there is a profecy about him. He is the boy who must kill an evil spirit, this spirit takes the shape of a bear: he grows after each time he kills someone.

Best feature of the book: This book is fine because we learn about the iron age and we want to read again so we read it very fast. We want to read the other tomes.

Worst feature of the book: The story is slow there is too much time between the advenures.
