Hundreds of people died in the Battle of the Alamo.

The leader of the Mexican soldiers was Santa Anna.

When the Mexican soldiers came to the Alamo, the people outside were happy the Mexican soldiers came.

Santa Anna was riding a horse. The Texans shot the cannons at the Mexican soldiers and they fell down.

The Texans fought the Mexican soldiers for 13 days.

The battle of the Alamo was on March 6, 1836.

On March 6, 1836 Mexican soldiers led by General Santa Anna attacked the Alamo.

Most Texans who were defending the Alamo died.

600 Mexican soldiers died.
