Youth Fitness Club and Community Fitness Youth and Adult Fitness is a big part of what Foundation For Youth provides for the community. Our adult fitness opportunities such as Masters Swim, Men’s Slow Break Basketball, Traithlon, and NextGen Transformation go towards funding more diverse opportunities for youth to become fit and healthy. With childhood obesity a continuing problem, FFY is dedicated to finding positive ways to engage youth and keep them active. One of the most promising opportunities is the Youth Fitness Club offered by our Health and Fitness Director, Jen Shaver.

Youth participate in goal setting and nutrition planning for swimming, running, and biking. Here’s what program participant’s are saying in our surveys: “Jen Shave is an awesome coach and asset to child wellness and development!” “(My Daughter)made new freindsand invited others to the program. We will definitely participate again.” “As a dad I really like that I am able to participate in some of the training.” “I am amazed at their improved swimming ability.
