About Me.

Recently graduated in BA (Hons) Furniture and Product Design at Nottingham Trent University, I specialise in furniture and lifestyle product design. I also have industrial experience in interior design at Milan based Sawaya & Moroni and I am enthusiastic to broaden my skills and experiences through work within the wider design industries.

I have taken a great deal of inspiration from the forest and open countryside where I have grown up. My love for natural and raw materials has stemmed from the forest and I have a great respect for them as well as a curiosity in the possibilities of both traditional and new materials. I also love to experiment with forms, patterns and colours I find in the natural landscape.

With a design style that creates quirky, playful and highly usable objects, enhancing the experience of everyday activities is what drives my passion for design. By designing objects that encourage mindful interaction, I aim to provide users with opportunities to feel appreciation and gratitude towards their possessions, environment and daily lives. I am a strong believer in using quality, yet innovative materials and combinations.
