Christmasville: Snap! Crackle! and a Pop! of fun By: Cheyenne Gray & Mariana Obando ChristmasVille is coming! This fun filled festival will be happening from December 5 - December 8, 2013, in downtown Rock Hill, SC. It is a four day celebration of the Christmas season and also exhibits the artwork of Vernon Grant, the famous creator of the cartoon characters Snap! Crackle! and Pop! It includes over 70 activities that people of all ages can enjoy such as historic tours, parades, performances, an art market and gift show, the Reindeer Romp 5K, outdoor iceskating, horse drawn carriage rides, a Gingerbread House Contest, music, dance, Santa Claus and many more. One of the most famous attractions at Christmasville is real snow! There are plenty of choices for the whole family to choose! When interviewed about her favorite ChristmasVille activity, Northwestern sophomore, DaCota Ewing, said, "I like the parade the most because they give out candy and it's fun because of all the costumes". Also, there are volunteer opportunities which will allow you to take part of this celebration. It is a good way to be involved and have fun at the same time.
