Winter 2017 Holiday Collections There will be NO box collections on Monday 25th December , Tuesday 26th December or Monday 1st January . Alternative collections will take place for residents with a Monday collection on Saturday 23rd December and Saturday 30th December. Residents with a Tuesday collection should save up their extra material for their next collection. Overflow bags can be used if either box is full. Only put one type of material in each bag. Never put glass in overflow bags. Tips for Windy Days Please follow these simple steps to help prevent litter and keep yourneighbourhood tidy:

• Put your boxes out by 7.30am on the morning of your collection. Please don’t leave them out overnight.

• Don’t overfill your boxes.

• Use a lid, ensure it is fully closed and secured with a weight.

• Don’t stack your boxes.

• Bring your boxes back in as soon as you can after collections have taken place.

By recycling you can help raise much needed funds for a local charity, thanks to the Recycling Rewards campaign.For every tonne of glass, paper and plastic collected through our kerbside box service this year, £1 will be donated to PIPS (Public Initiative for prevention of Suicide and Self Harm)who provide a range of suicide prevention and bereavement support services across Northern Ireland.

Please recycle as much as you can – the more you recycle the more we give.
