A"er  three  mission  trips  this  semester,  weekly  street  evangelism,  a  full-‐9me  school  schedule  and  a  full-‐9me  missions  schedule,  I  have  grown  exponen9ally.  However,  none  of  this  would  have  happened  had  I  not  said  “yes”  to  God.  We  all

have  set  backs  in  life.  I  actually  begin  this  semester  with  my  own  set  of  baggage.  However,  choosing  to  lay  that  stuff  down  and  say  yes  to  Jesus  has  opened  me  up  to  a  greater  depth  of  His  love.  Jesus  is  the  symbol  of  God’s  love  and

faithfulness  in  my  life.  God  doesn’t  have  to  do  anything  else  for  me  in  this  life,  Jesus  is  enough!  Now,  I  share  the  gospel  of  God’s  love  through  music,  literature,  dramas,  preaching,  etc.  There  are  never  too  many  ways  to  share  God’s  love!

JESUS IS ALWAYS INTERCEDING

The pictures on the right reveal one of many dramas we perform around the country. In the first picture, Jesus (me) is

visibly shown fighting for the life of the guy in the red jacket. While being manipulated to commit suicide, Jesus is pulling on an invisible rope that is bringing

the guy’s arm down. In the skit, the rope breaks, and a dance breaks out between the guy and satan (see picture 2). The

dance is in sync as to depict a puppet on a string. During the whole scene, Jesus is interceding on behalf of guy. Ultimately,

Jesus breaks the strings the devil uses to influence this guy and sets him free. Love is a powerful force!

“FOR THE SON OF MAN CAME TO SEEK AND TO SAVE THE LOST.” <--- JESUS

The Wedding ProposalDid  you  know  that  God  has  given  you  a  marriage  proposal?  Jesus  is  God’s  wedding  ring  from  heaven.  The  perfect  symbol  of  God’s  love,  Jesus  is  a  ring  that  will  never  fade,  always  shine,  and  forever  bring  glory  to  the  Father  as  He  declares  “YOU  ARE  LOVED  BY  ME.”  The  Ring  God  gives  is  priceless;  it  is  one  we  are  unworthy  to  wear.  However,  true  love  always  honors,  and  God  honored  us  by  sending  His  Son  as  a  promise  of  His  eternal  love  for  us.

When  Jesus  Resurrected  from  the  dead,  He  essentially  revealed  that  He  really  was  the  Son  of  God.  And  since  that  time  He  is  asking  all  of  us:  “Will  you  marry  me?...  All  I  went  through,  I  did  so,  so  you  could  know  the  depth  of  my  love.  Take  my  hand.  Follow  me.  Join  me  in  Paradise.  I  came  that  you  may  have  life...  Will  you  marry  me?”

A KEY TO MINISTRY IS BUILDING RELATIONSHIP. PEOPLE WANT TO SEE THAT YOU ARE THE SAME PERSON OFF STAGE AS YOU ARE ON STAGE. AT ELC, WE ARE TAUGHT THE IMPORTANCE OF BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS. AT ALMOST EVERY YOUTH EVENT WE DO, WE HAVE A FIELD DAY TO HAVE FUN WITH THE GUYS. AT S.P.A.R.E.D. WE HAD A BLAST!

READY, SET, GO!

BEING A PART OF COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES ARE CRUCIAL FOR MINISTRY. WE CARE ABOUT JESUP AND THE PEOPLE IN THE JESUP. NOT ONLY DO WE PARTICIPATE IN STREET EVANGELISM WEEKLY, WE ALSO ATTEND THINGS LIKE “A MILE IN HER SHOES” WHICH IS A COMMUNITY OUTREACH TO RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND A WAY OUT.

Both pictures (above and to the left) were captured during a 4-day local mission trip. We spent two days in Savannah and two days in Jesup. The picture above was at a youth conference and the other was during a tent meeting in a common public square in Jesup.

***I know I am exactly where God wants me. However, being here implies that I must rely solely on the donations of others. Please pray about supporting me in ministry.***
