4. Origen of the christmas tree

• It is a decorated coniferous tree and a tradition associated with Christmas.

• In 672 St. Bonifacius cut down the tree of a German tribe in order to disprove the legitimacy of the god of German people.

• He saw a fir tree growing from an old oak tree and took this as a sign of the Christian faith.
