Christmas is marvelous. It is very important and people all over the world love it. Usually on other days, they do something typical but at this time, families do so many Christmas things:

* shopping for Christmas presents* eating special dinner on this day* doing some exciting things (riding snowboard or skiing)* going to special places, for example restaurants* playing games and having fun with friends and family

New Year Day starts on the first of January. People celebrate this day in a family atmosphere. They watch firework displays, and don't sleep at 12 p.m., because they drink champagnes and eat delicious food. They usually talk and they are happy so it is a fantastic night. I like that date and I am vey happy when it comes.
