John O'Neill Class of 1965 Mr, D,,,,,My music instructor, teacher, role model and mentor. There are no words to express what our personal relationship has meant to me. At a time when I needed you most, you were there for me. You pressed all of your students to achieve so much more than we could have possibly have expected of ourselves by sharing your time, talent, guidance and love for all of us. No one of our generation thinks of CCHS without paying respect to all of your accomplishments during your 20 year tenure. We thank you for helping us all become role models for our own families. "WE'LL CHERISH YOU FOREVER AND LOVE YOU, MISTER D." John Szychowski - Class of 1966 I was sad to hear the news of Mr DePrisco's passing. What a guy he was! A truly sad loss for the family, his friends, Central, and numerous people who he touched in his life. I'm glad that I got to see him a number of times over the last several years. What more can you say than Mr D was the best, caring and giving his whole life. The good news is, for us as believers, we will all be together again singing in the heavenly choir with our Lord and Savior. Much love with the family at this time, Marge Taylor Class of 1971 Mr. D influenced me in so many ways and nurtured my love for music. Some of my best CCHS memories are of the endless, fun rehearsals for operettas and all the band performances, on and off the football field. He brought out the best in us & taught us how to set high standards & meet them. When the movie "Mr Holland's Opus" came out, I was immediately reminded of Mr D & imagined how his life's work at CCHS paralleled that story line. In fact, a quote from the movie has remained with me: "Look around you. There is not a life in this room that you have not touched, and each of us is a better person because of you. We are your symphony, Mr Holland. We are the melodies & the notes of your opus. We are the music of your life." THANKS, Mr D. for being our "Mr Holland" and for bringing the music into MY life! Rest in Peace - you will be missed!

Carolyn Staskiewicz Hayes Class of 1966 The world has lost a great man, a great musician, and an inspiring teacher. May he rest in peace. Sharon Sitek Dendinger Class of 1967 "The Leader of the Band" is now young again and preparing to direct - the Heavenly band and chorus of angels.
