FILL A SHOE BOX TO HELP POWER HOUSE SHARE THE GOOD NEWS WITH AT-RISK CHILDREN IN OUR CITY. YOUR GIFT WILL HELP SHOW THE LOVE OF CHRIST.
Use an empty shoe box (standard size, please) or a small plastic container. You can wrap the box (lid separately). Most important, pray for the child who will receive your gift. Monetary gifts of any size are also welcome. We would love to do the shopping for you. Simply place your gift in an offering envelope and write a note indicating it is for Power House Christmas.
Determine whether your gift will be for a boy or girl, and the child’s age category (4-6, 7-11, or 12-17). Use the appropriate boy/girl label from this brochure. Mark the correct age category on the label and tape the label to the top of the box. For additional labels you may make copies from the brochure.
Fill the box with a variety of gifts that will bring delight to a child (see Gift Suggestions list).
Place a rubber band around each closed shoe box and drop off at the ResKids office by December 15. We distribute from December 7 - 18. We need as many gifts as possible by December 8 but will continue to receive gifts until December 15.
