S P A I N· Spanish, decorate their houses with typical objects and many colors. Among these objects is the Christmas crib , the Christmas tree, balls and typical Christmas plants.

·Christmas Eve is celebrated on December 24th, the families have dinner together. The typical dinner is stuffed turkey. People sing carols accompanied by tambourines and zambomba. In some communities in celebrating the Caga Tio.

·December 25th is Christmas, families eat together. Some families celebrate Santa Claus.

·December 26th is St. Stephen's day, day in which some families get together and eat together.

· December 31th is New Year's eve. Is traditional that night people dress red underwear to bring luck.

· January 6, the Three Kings have left the presents under the Christmas tree and children's open.

B R A Z I L·Brazil is a good place to celebrate Christmas because it is summer. People celebrate the New Year on the beach.

·Like Spanish, family celebrate Christmas. They have dinner together on Christmas Eve. A typical menu is roast turkey with white rice.

It is a tradition that every neighbor take a meal to a neighbor for it to taste.

· December 31th, the famous fireworks event on the beaches of Copacabana in Rio de Janeiro, lighting up the sky for 15 minutes.

·Brazilians have superstitions such as:

- The last night of the year they jump three jumps with a glass of champagne without spilling a drop, then throw it to the back.

C H I N A• China is a country where most people aren’t Catholic, so

Christmas isn’t important. In this country is very important the celebration of the Lunar year. This day families welcome the New Year with a big fireworks show.

• In Catholic families gather to celebrate the birth of Jesus. They have dinner together and the children’s wait for the "Old Christmas" who brings presents for they.

• Christmas in China isn’t a family party as it is in other countries.

• The 25th, isn’t an important day for them, they don’t celebrate anything.
