step 5: Cut pieces and make the 9-patch blocks. Add the squares to finish the blocks for borders and corners.

step 6: Add borders to quilt.

step 7: The outside borders are cut cross-wise and pieced to make the right length.

step 8: Add to quilt.

Finish

step 9: Layer quilt top, batting, and backing and baste.

step 10: Quilt as desired.

step 11: Bind to finish.
