Christmas is a special time of year

We celebrate Christmas in December

This is an advent calendar to count down the days till Christmas

We decorate the house

We decorate a Christmas tree with lights and baubles

And on Christmas eve Father Christmas put presents under the tree

Then on Christmas day we open the presents in the morning

Then we have Christmas dinner

In the UK the queen gives a speech on Christmas day

Many families sit round to watch it on Televisiontogether

We also sing carols during Christmas

And decorate the streets

It's a fun time of year for everyone!!
