This native Venezuelan species is one of our most popular offer-ings in the Cattleya alliance. Due to its compact growth habit, plants can reach mature size in limited space and become show-stopping specimens in just a few years. New growths emerge late in the year with buds maturing just in time for the holiday season. Flowers are a crystalline lavender with a unique blend of orange and plum purple in the throat. Summit is one of the larger clones with flowers around 4 1/2 across that appear in groups of three per stem. A well grown plant can carry six or more stems in a single season, making for a most impressive holiday show!
