That is a question which we are asked often and you, as a congregation, certainly have the right to know. Currently, we are still accepting applications and are preparing to request reference letters on some of them. The Board of Elders serves as the Search Committee and will make the decision on which ones we will look at a little closer. But remember, the ultimate decision will be made by the congregation. The Elders will make a recommendation and then you will get to voice your wishes. It does take some time to reach the point where we are ready to make a decision so we will keep you informed. Continue to pray that we will make the right choice to lead us forward. In the interim, let’s continue to be faithful in our worship and service as we reach out to others in our community who need a church home. Satan never takes a vacation from his work, and neither should we if we want to see the church grow. So if you haven’t been attending church regularly, ask yourself why? We want every family to grow with us and be a part of our church family. Keep God at the front of your priorities and enjoy the blessings He wants to share with you. Blessings to all: Gary B FAITH ~ FUN ~ FAMILY CONGREGATIONAL SUGGESTIONS FOR ELDERS, DEACONS AND TRUSTEES NOMINATIONS ARE SOUGHT: This will be the last week for your suggestions for Elders, Deacons and Trustees. (NIV) CAMP FOLLOW UP!! It is with great joy that I can say we finally achieved 100 campers to Hidden Haven in one season!!! This feat has never been achieved by any church in our camp district! There were 14 baptism decisions, 4 desires to attend Bible College, and many rededication decisions made by our students from First Christian Church. WHAT AN OUTSTANDING SUMMER!! Thanks so much for all the supporters of this ministry both prayerfully and financially! I would also like to shout out thanks to Dan Dulin, Karl Hurt & Bill Ratliff for driving the van or people mover to help me get the students to camp! Thanks so much and God bless, Chris

The family of Jack Lowe thanks you for your kind expressions of sympathy. How can we count the many ways this church has blessed us. Thank you so much for the arrangement. My family would like to thank the ladies and men of the First Christian Church for the lunch served to our family. What a blessing you have been to Jack and I. Jack loved visiting as he served drinks at the evening meals and funeral dinners. God Bless all of you and thanks again. Jo Lowe
