CHRISTIAN MEDITATION
“Blessed are the pure in spirit.”
Tuesdays (beginning September 17, 2019) 1:30 - 2:30 p.m., Holy Family Chapel
Join with others to experience contemplative
prayer. Christian Meditation is a process of enter-
ing into silence to open oneself to the love and
presence of God at the core of our being. The
repetition of a mantra assists the Meditator to
enter into stillness.
Union with God is the goal of all Christian life.
Christian Meditation is organized to carry out the
tradition of purity of heart and seeing God, the
promise of the beatitude.
Seeing God, according to the Christian tradition is
the true meaning of life and to reach this goal is to
find the happiness that lies at the spiritual core of
every human act and desire.

LABYRINTH WALKING MEDITATION
Walking a labyrinth is a contemplative prayer. It is meant to be travelled as a holy journey on sacred ground, with open heart and mind. A labyrinth symbolizes life as a pilgrimage, a spiritual journey whose ultimate destiny is our Creator God.
The Labyrinth is located at the west end of the building. Walking Guides are available in the Lobby. Visitors, please sign in with the staff at Reception.
Why wish upon a star when you can pray to the one who created it!

We are made, the scriptures assure us, in the im-
age of God. Nothing can change that original
goodness. Even if we try to hide it, it is always
ready to set our personality ablaze with light..
How do we live with this truth and remain deeply
connected to the inner heartbeat of the ONE who
is always present to us?
Advent beckons us to come and listen, listen,
listen!
