GOSPEL REFLECTION Through the Risen Christ, we are given the gift of the Holy

Spirit. It is the Spirit that fills us with hope and joy, even in the

face of suffering. This same Spirit showers us with a love and

truth that is beyond “worldly” standards and wisdom. It is

God’s Spirit that transforms us from a mere collection of iso-

lated individuals or strangers into a community of brothers

and sisters. This solidarity, the fruit of the Spirit, “presumes the

creation of a new mindset which thinks in terms of commu-

nity and the priority of life of all over the appropriation of

goods by a few.” (The Joy of the Gospel, 188).

PUBLIC MASS PRECAUTIONS AND PROCEDURES Phase I

We are excited to be reuniting as a community to celebrate Mass

public Mass! As we make our plans to return to public Mass on Satur-

day, May 16th, safety is our top priority. New procedures outlined be-

low will be implemented to provide the safest and healthiest environ-

ment for our parish. We ask for your cooperation, patience and un-

derstanding as we adapt to a new normal.

Social Distancing

Maintain 6-foot spacing while entering, exiting, and during Mass

Family units that live in the same household may sit together

Sanctuary capacity will be limited to the first 100 attendees

Masks

Masks must be worn before, during and after Mass

No one will be allowed into the sanctuary without a mask

Before Mass

Enter through the Narthex doors (West and H.E.B. entrances will

not be open)

Bring your own hand sanitizer and use before entering

Wait to be ushered to your seat

Do not congregate in the Narthex

During Mass

Remain in your seat during Mass as much as possible

Restrooms and water fountains will not be open

Make your donation online, or drop it off as you enter

Holy Communion will be brought to you in your pew

Holy Communion will only be distributed on the hand, or you

can choose to refrain from receiving

After Mass

The congregation will be dismissed by section to the nearest exit

Do not congregate in the Narthex

Prayer after Mass will not be possible as volunteers will immedi-

ately clean and disinfect the sanctuary

Dispensation for Mass

All parishioners age 65 and older

Those with pre-existing medical conditions or a weakened im-

mune system

Any person who is ill, has been exposed to COVID-19, or has

been around someone who has been exposed

Those who believe that attending Mass will jeopardize their

health or the health of a person with whom they reside

At this time all regular EIM Workshops are postponed; consequently the EIM Office has developed a temporary

online EIM training to fulfill the compliance requirement. If you are past due, or are soon due, for an EIM Work-

Holy Trinity of Corn Hill Fundraiser

You are invited to join us on Sunday, June 7, for our annual June Fundraiser to enjoy a delicious fried chicken and

sausage take-out dinner. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. we will be serving plates of fried chicken, sausage, dressing,

noodles and green beans at the PAC. Plates are $10 each, DRIVE-THRU ONLY! Holy Trinity Catholic Church of
