Recruit-A-Student Program!
How does a $1,000** credit towards your child’s registration and/or tuition sound! IT’S SO EASY……just recruit a new
family to CLS.
Once the new family enrolls and attends a minimum of six months and is in good financial standing you can receive up to a $1,000** credit to be used towards your registration and/or tuition.
Any returning elementary or preschool family is eligible to participate in this program.
Recruit-A-Student forms are available from the school office or the school’s website at www.clswc.org (Forms button). Submit the form to the office with the prospective parent’s name and we will mail them an Information Packet.
**Recruited preschool students must attend full time for the returning family to be eligible to receive the full $1,000 credit. Otherwise the recruiting family will receive a pro-rated credit based on the new students attendance schedule.

Summer School enrollment packets have been sent home. This
year the theme will be “Adventures in Learning”. We will be
“going on adventures” all summer! While we are learning fun concepts we will emphasize Math
the first four weeks and then literacy the second four weeks. Our summer Transitional Kin-
dergarteners will be busy learning how to be kindergarteners by utilizing our kindergarten
yard, using the cafeteria, and of course math and literacy skills will be emphasized in the
classroom. There will be worksheets and homework too. Please turn in your enrollment form
as soon as possible so we can start planning staff hours and special events. Enrollment forms
available in the preschool office and online at www.clswc.org.
First Session Only
A great big to all the CLS Elementary and Preschool parents from the Parent Teacher Fellowship Officers (remember, all parents are members of PTF). Because you have supported the PTF fundraisers this year (Football Mania, Box Tops, Christmas Boutique, Book Fair, Boosterthon Fun Run) we were able to provide school wide assemblies, gifts to the classrooms and teachers, books to the library, money for P.E. and sports, and a teacher appreciation luncheon. PTF also supports the student council and other hospitality related functions. Each time you supported PTF you helped to make sure that CLS continues to provide the best possible events and education environment for all of our children. Once again, Thank You!
Parent Teacher Fellowship is Looking Forward to a Great New School Year
As summer begins, we are
glad to say that we have filled
most of our 2019-2020
fundraising and special event
chairperson positions. We
could still use volunteers for
a few areas. Most of these
positions will fulfill the
yearly family point
commitment. We would like
to thank in advance the CLS
parents and family members who have volunteered to
chair committees and events for 2019-2020. Next
year promises to be a fun and exciting year, with
several enhancements to our yearly favorite events. If
you would like to be a part of the PTF team, please
call the school office at 626.967.7531 x 228.
Don’t forget, we are here all summer long. Order your scrip online at www.clswc.org . Due to a lower volume during the summer, orders will be placed on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month.
Summer Hours: 8:30am until 4:00pm - Monday through Friday. Hours are subject to change, so please contact the school office prior to picking up your order.
