Today is our Paschal Picnic: TODAY, April 18th is our Annual Parish Picnic. It will be held at Yavapai Hills Clubhouse immediately after Divine Liturgy. Maps and directions are provided in the Vestibule.

Altar servers Workshop will take place next Wednesday evening. See the times above. All young men aged 7 and over who desire to serve as Altar Servers must attend. Those desiring to serve as readers and/or choir members who will be doing reading should attend this Wednesday’s Readers Workshop.

St. George Day Liturgy: Friday, April 23rd is the Feast Day of our Patronal Saint, the Greatmartyr George of Lydda. We will be celebrating a Vesperal Liturgy for the Feast at 6 pm, followed by a festal dinner and party.

Synodia are small church groups that meet away from Church for mutual

prayer, discussion and faith advancement.

This is not a Bible study, but a chance to meet and discuss the issues of life and faith and spiritual understanding with others who are desiring to increase their level of discipleship and obey Christ.

Fr. John encourages and recommends that all catechumens, and members attend and enjoy these gatherings to advance in personal discipleship.
