• Where appropriate, public services markets will be opened up to allow social enterprise, charities and co-operatives to bid to run public services.  Barriers to involvement will be identified and measures will be implemented

The Budget - June 2010• The Government will increase the standard rate of landfill tax by £8 per tonne on 1 April 2011 until at least 2014, and introduce a floor so that that the rate will not fall below £80 per tonne until at least 2020

• £1.4Bn Regional Growth Fund announced (over 3 yrs)
